Psychological Formulation
A psychological formulation is based on our discussions about your early/previous experiences, what you are coming to the assessment with in terms of difficulties, what might be currently keeping those difficulties going. A psychological formulation often serves as a 'treatment' map going forward in what type of psychological intervevtion might work best for you at this time.

My Approach
Why Clinical Psychology?
Clinical psychologists train for around 8 years starting with a Bachelor's degree in psychology, several years’ work experience to ensure a broad knowledge base and a Doctoral level training programme. Alongside this, work experience is gained in several areas to ensure a wide knowledge base. This extensive training means that by choosing to see a clinical psychologist, you are entrusting a professional who has high levels of training and experience in research and therapy practice.
