Areas of Expertise

Assessment

Psychology assessment; complex psychology assessment, neuropsychological assessment, systemically informed and family/couples therapy assessment.  Mostly assessments will focus on a psychosocial formulation in thinking about the best treatment pathway for you.

Psychological Formulation

A psychological formulation is based on our discussions about your early/previous experiences, what you are coming to the assessment with in terms of difficulties, what might be currently keeping those difficulties going.  A psychological formulation often serves as a 'treatment' map going forward in what type of psychological intervevtion might work best for you at this time.

BCT - Behavioural Couples therapy and foundation level family therapy

CBT - Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
